MONSTER ENTERTAINMENT, LLC
|
What type of franchise is available? MONSTER ENTERTAINMENT, LLC offers you the opportunity to operate an entertainment center for children and adults that features miniature golf, video games, redemption games and other activities.
How much does the franchise cost?A. The estimated initial investment to establish a MONSTER MINI GOLF ranges from $288,000 to $346,500 including a franchise fee of $30,000. (this is a complete turnkey business, we have included everything from the Golf Course & Props to paperclips and working capital. To see breakdown of investment costs...click here)
How much is the fee for continuing support services?A. The continuing services, or “royalty fee”, is 8% of your gross sales and is paid weekly. This fee entitles you to use of the MONSTER MINI GOLF service mark, use of our distinctive system, support, marketing assistance including the web site monsterminigolf.com in which you will become part of, ongoing business development and consulting, and other benefits that come with being a MONSTER MINI GOLF franchisee. What is the difference between a Monster Mini Golf Franchise and one of those prefab kits that I can order in a box and build on my own?A. Well, for beginners it's like comparing a real automobile to a kit-car. (Odds are you probably can't build a new Lexus on our own...and if you can, you probably do not have any interest in owning a Mini Golf course) The construction of a Monster Mini Golf is not only designed to last for years but the entire concept is a “complete package” that is designed to work. We do not build “cookie cutter” theater type sets that might fall down if leaned against too hard. We build you a solid golf course that compares to no other Glow-in-the-Dark Course. We work with you in designing your entire location and you as a Franchisee, get help with artwork and prop ideas. In addition, since we have years of experience with the concept, we know what works and works great, and…what doesn't. We know what is safe and what isn't. These are things that you shouldn't want to find out through trial and error. That is one of the many reasons why you might be considering a Franchise of any kind. Along with buying a proven system and name, you are buying the founders and management's experience and expertise and a concept that will be recognized as quality. Keep in mind that creating a business isn't like "Field of Dreams". Just because you build it, doesn't mean that they will come. We as a Franchisor work with you and aid in the most important part of your business...the marketing, the training, your profit margins, and the philosophy behind our 1950's style customer service. We do not build your course and then shake hands and wish you good luck, we continue to work with you to help you build and shape your business. We provide you with ads, promotions, experience and support that does not exist in a box. We have a passion in our business and look for Franchisees that have passion as well, because that is an important factor in longevity and success. If you plan a visit to meet us and see our concept in action, you will see Monster Mini Golf is in a category all it's own.
Will I have an exclusive territory?A. Yes, you will be granted a "protected area" around your designated, approved location where no other Monster Mini Golf franchises will be placed. The protected area will be specific to your location, based on populations, distances and drive times to existing locations. These protected areas will each be handled on an individual basis, based on the specifics of the geographic area each individual franchisee is granted. We feel that placing a set equation on a country wide level is not beneficial to all Franchise locations and should be handled accordingly in the best interest of the Franchisee.
Do you help with site location? A. When searching for a site you will be in the capable hands of the Franchise Development Team to our Real Estate team, you’ll be guided through finding a great location in your area. A member of our team or an authorized broker will assist you in your site selection. Patrick will help you set your terms, Negotiate and secure your lease under the most advantageous terms possible. What's next? How long does it take to get my doors open? How much square footage does the average Monster Mini Gofl use?
What about advertising?A. The MONSTER MINI GOLF name and reputation is an important part of your business. You will spend a minimum of $5,000 (this is already accounted for in the build-out investment pkg) on grand opening advertising during the first three months of operations. Monster Entertainment will assist in not only the purchasing of ads, but will also provide layouts and promotional ideas on an on-going basis.
How much training is provided in the MONSTER MINI GOLF system?A. You will participate in an initial training course of approximately 2-3 weeks. (10 days with us on location. These 10 days are broken up into 3 long weekends prior to your opening. We understand that you have an ongoing life prior to opening your Monster Mini Golf and try our best to work with your schedule. Then we spend the first week with you at your new location.) The initial program will focus on all aspects of the MONSTER MINI GOLF franchise system; and is comprised of classroom and on the job training.
What form of business start-up assistance and ongoing support will I receive? MONSTER ENTERTAINMENT, LLC will periodically schedule visits as well as schedule Franchisee meetings throughout the course of the franchise term, which are designed to provide operation assistance and guidance in various aspects of your MONSTER MINI GOLF Franchised Business. You will also receive a MONSTER MINI GOLF confidential Operations Manual that contains specifications, standards, operating procedures and suggestions to aid you in the operation of your MONSTER MINI GOLF Franchised Business.
What is the term of the MONSTER MINI GOLF Franchise Agreement? The initial term of the Franchise Agreement is five years from the date the Franchise Agreement is signed. The franchise is renewable for 3 terms of five years, providing you have complied with the provisions of the Franchise Agreement.
Can any one who has the money buy a Monster Mini Golf? No, it doesn't work that way.
Franchises are awarded, not purchased by just any individual. We're looking to award franchises to a select group of highly qualified individuals. You might be among them. Basically, we're looking for outgoing, energetic individuals, with strong people and sales skills, as well as outstanding customer service and relationship-oriented talents. You should also display exceptional maturity, sound judgment, and stability and possess the highest qualities of excellence, honesty, and integrity.
What is my next step?
* Can I see photos anywhere? Yes, we have some photos in the articles (below) that you may see but you will notice that we do not provide an abundance of photos. This is because we like to keep our proprietary information a little more closely guarded than some of the pre-fab, “cookie cutter” kits that some of our competitors are offering. We can however tell you that we are the only provider combining the wildly popular Glow-In-The-Dark Mini-Golf concept with 3-Dimensional props, a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system, Animatronics and a Broadway quality special effects presentation, bringing you the worlds first and only interactive mini-golf experience.
